    Set when the body is already the wire representation (e.g. binary upload).

    signal?: AbortSignal

    Cancels the request. A rejection after the request was handed to fetch does not tell the caller whether the server applied a write: treat it as an unknown outcome, never as "not sent".

    Wall-clock limit in milliseconds; expiry aborts the request like signal.
