    Who authored the draft (human / agent / hybrid).

    base?: ProvenanceBase | null

    Identity of the base layer/stack the draft was authored against.

    baseline: Uint8Array

    Baseline the draft was forked from (Y.encodeStateAsUpdate / captureBaseline output).

    checks?: ProvenanceCheck[]

    Results of declared checks, run by the caller before publishing.

    created?: string

    Manifest timestamp override (defaults to now).

    extract?: ExtractMinimalLayerOptions

    Forwarded to the minimal-layer extractor.

    instructions_digest?: string

    blake3 digest of the prompt/task text that produced the layer.

    intent: string

    Human-readable why. Mandatory — the ifc layer log line.

    parents?: string[]

    Parent layer ids in the change DAG (defaults to the base id).

    scope_claim?: string[]

    Capability-grammar scope claims declared for this layer.
